Welcome Message
On behalf of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, I would like to welcome you to the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology Virtual Conference, Middle East program. The COVID-19 pandemic has limited our ability to meet in person but opened the door for new venues that will allow us to learn remotely. This conference is held in conjunction with multiple professional societies from the Middle East and co-organized by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and Saudi Heart Association.
Cardiac diseases remain the leading cause of death globally. Nuclear cardiology is an important tool in the assessment and management of patients with suspected cardiac diseases. In this conference, we hope to showcase how nuclear cardiology can assist practitioners globally in the management of these patients. While putting patients first, we hope to demonstrate a patient-centered strategy that will assist you in your daily practices.
On behalf of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, I would like to thank the outstanding faculty from North America and the Middle East who will participate in the conference in the coming two days. I am sure you will find their presentations informative and helpful in your practice. I would like to thank you all for participating in this important educational activity. I wish you a successful conference.
